I have to share that I am making the best pour-over of my own blend of Regent black coffee at home. My process: heat water to 206° in a gooseneck kettle because I like it hot! So, I Preheat filter, carafe and cup. Weigh and grind beans fresh by 8-oz. cup. 2:1 guji and barreled geisha (20 grams and 10 grams for example). Man o man what a rush. I call it BD 2020 because my nickname is Big Daddy with 20 grams of guji and it rhymes with maddog 2020 by mogen david.
I prefer the light roasts for lots of single origin flavor, but dark roast+ mexican is pretty good. It's bloom in the filter is massive. And the roast level does not overpower the delicious chocolate dark cherry notes.
Online orders arrive on the east coast 2-3 days after roasting date which is ideal for off-gassing. I store beans in ball mason jars in a dark drawer. The mexican popped the lid the next day. Wow, still off-gassing! Pretty good for iced coffee, too. -

Unique, relaxed atmosphere and great service. I had all of my obnoxious coffee questions answered.
GREAT blueberry muffin, and tasty [but not too sweet] vanilla iced latte. The coffee is high quality.
Downside: I wish the seating situation was a bit more comfortable/expanded. I didn't have a spacious alcove of any sort to hold the meeting I had at the time. -

First time here, I got the rose latte and smoked salmon bagel. Both were absolutely incredible.
The rose latte was beautifully laid out with crushed dried rose petals, and had a pleasant, subtle rose auroma. Flavor was perfect, I'm not a huge coffee/latte person. Not a fan of strong bitter flavors, so this was perfect for me!
The bagel was huge! Well worth the $10. A good amount of salmon. The flavors were great, herby. The cucumbers were a refreshing touch, they added a crunch I really enjoyed. Lox is one of my favorite meals. This one was unique and definitely stood out from alot of what I've experienced. It was untraditional and really bomb. -

If you're in the area stop by.... omg such delicious coffee and great atmosphere. We went here the morning after our wedding since we were staying in town and forgot how exhausted we were. We literally enjoyed the coffee and environment so much we hung out for a few hours just chatting about our event. Coffee is delicious! I got an almond iced latte.

Really, really good coffee.
I love the atmosphere and the aesthetic of this coffee place. It feels like a coffee shop, but it also feels a bit quirky and welcoming at the same time. The coffee bags are surprisingly comfortable. At first I didn't think I would be a fan of the benches, but they're not that bad.
The coffee is just oh-so wonderful. The coffee is strong and fresh; it's not dull or Day-old. It's also not so weak I could've gotten it at a chain coffee store. It's rather perfect.
I got the flat white and my hubby got the cappuccino. The barista designed our cups the same so it was hard to tell what was what unless I asked. But that didn't matter, it was delicious.
It gets pretty busy during the weekends but i do recommend this place!
